Dutch universities subscribe to OECD recommendations

This paper describes the position of the VSNU towards the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) report: "Thematic Review of Tertiary Education in The Netherlands".

The VSNU agrees with the conclusions presented in this report. The universities share the view of the Dutch higher education system as intrinsically healthy, but also recognize the need for significant changes in some areas. The OECD-recommendations support and underline the common strategy of the Dutch research universities.
