ICCR launches new scholarship

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has launched new scholarship schemes in the form of a fellowship programme and study visit programmes to stimulate exchange between Dutch and Indian junior scholars and academicians. Furthermore, the ICCR and Leiden University have signed a MoU establishing a Chair of Contemporary Indian Studies at Leiden. As of 2011, the holder of the chair will engage in teaching, research and mentoring at various levels, including politics and economy of modern India.
