Strengthening knowledge in review of budget of European Union

Input of the Netherlands House for Education and Research to the public consultation on the budget of the European Union by the European Commission (June 2008)

In their contribution to the public consultation of the budget review, the Dutch knowledge institutions united in Neth-ER (Netherlands House for Education and Research), including the VSNU, argue that a shift towards competitiveness is needed in the face of the challenges identified by the communication "Reforming the budget, changing Europe".
