What is the SRC?

Student Research Conference

The Student Research Conference (SRC) is a yearly event that gives undergraduate students of Dutch and Flamish Universities the unique opportunity to share their research with a large audience. For the greatest part of the conference students will present their bachelor research, either in a poster presentation or during a workshop session. Furthermore there will be plenary sessions with well-known Dutch scientists. There will be many possibilities to discuss the endless possibilities of (undergraduate) research and to enlarge your social and professional network.

Last spring students had the change to submit their undergraduate research and the program committee evaluated every research project critically. The sixty best research projects have been invited to participate in the SRC coming October. From the participants that present their research in a workshop the final committee will eventually choose the winner of the Student Research Award. Visitors of the conference can vote for the poster that should win the Audience Award for the best Poster.

The SRC is a yearly event that was born during the Undergraduate Research Conference in Middelburg on the 27th and 28th of August last year. That conference was co-organized by the Roosevelt Academy and the University of Maastricht.

This year Leiden University will host the SRC.
